This project materializes my personal memories, experiences, and feelings about water. I vividly recall playing with wooden blocks as a child—their texture, sound, and the process of fitting them into corresponding shapes. Photography serves as a medium of memory, allowing me to create physical photo tablets that blend these childhood memories with images of water to enhance their significance.
What intrigues me most is water's subtle, ever-changing nature; even minor shifts can lead to dynamic transformations. Some of my photos may not immediately appear as water, reflecting its ability to take on infinite forms beyond fixed definitions. I’ve incorporated sentences and personal reflections about water, which often eludes definition, as intimate statements.
This piece encourages viewers to engage with the photo tablets by touching, opening, interpreting, and rearranging the elements. The composition is left up to the audience, making the experience personal and open-ended for each viewer.
Ultimately, this work reflects water as something collective and multifaceted. Since water is difficult to define with words, the process may feel like solving a puzzle. Through interaction, viewers can engage with their memories and feelings about water, embracing its mystery and contributing to a shared experience.
